A suspect has been arrested with heroin and ice drugs.

It was by a group of officers from the Weste North Crime Division.

A 42-year-old suspect residing in Boralasgamu has been arrested.

The police said that 1 kg 80 grams of heroin and 5 kg 24 grams of ice drugs were taken into custody.

Information has also been revealed that the suspect was in contact with foreign drug traffickers and carried out smuggling in this country.
