Cathay Pacific Airways has resumed its flights with Sri Lanka.
Accordingly, the maiden flight CX 611 arrived at the Bandaranaike Inte ational Airport (BIA) last night.
That is with 253 passengers.
They will operate flights on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
Cathay Pacific had been flying with Sri Lanka for over 30 years.
But due to the global Covid-19 pandemic, the airline temporarily suspended flight operations in March 2020.
It is said that this airline currently provides services to around 80 destinations in the world.
