Former MP Iran Wickramaratne has decided to resign from the Samagi Jana Balawegaya Working Committee and Management Committee.

He has taken this decision after being appointed as the Chairman of the Sri Lanka Cricket Board's Transformation Committee, and this has been confirmed by Samagi Jana Balawegaya General Secretary Ranjith Madduma Bandara, it is reported.
