The Department of Meteorology predicts a decrease in rain conditions on the island starting today (15).

The department stated that showers or thundershowers may occur at a few places in the Kalutara, Galle, Matara, and Ratnapura districts after about 4.00 pm.

The Department of Meteorology further stated that the weather conditions in the remaining areas will be mainly rainless.
