From May 17, 2023, the Department of Motor Transport has made a significant change regarding the information included in the motor vehicle registration certificate.

Accordingly, it has been decided not to include the number of previous owners in the car registration certificate.

Instead, it has been decided to mention only the nearest previous owner of the vehicle.
 
However, the Motor Transport Department said in a statement that the information of the previous owners will continue to be retained in the computer system maintained by the Motor Transport Department.
