Minister of Public Security and Parliamentary Affairs Ananda Wijepala stated that intelligence information has revealed that various political groups have links with 10 major criminal gangs.

Responding to an oral question raised in Parliament today (20) by Opposition Leader Sajith Premasadasa regarding the steps taken by the current gove ment to prevent crimes in the country, the Minister stated that after conducting an investigation into this matter, those political groups will be revealed to Parliament in the future.
