The Disaster Management Center says that the number of disaster deaths due to the disaster situation affecting the entire district has increased to 474.

The center stated that 356 people are missing.

Also, 1,586,329 people belonging to 448,817 families have been affected by the adverse weather.

The Disaster Management Center stated that 118 deaths have been reported from the Kandy district.

Meanwhile, 89 deaths have been reported from the Nuwara Eliya district, 83 deaths from the Badulla district, 53 deaths from Kurunegala, 29 deaths from the Kegalle and Puttalam districts, and 28 deaths from the Matale district.
