The Election Commission is set to reconvene on November 27 following the conclusion of the general election.

Key discussions will focus on the local gove ment and provincial council elections, including a recent court order regarding the former.

The meeting will also address financial arrangements for the upcoming elections, with the necessary funds included in the interim standard account to be presented to Parliament in December. However, a final decision on the election dates is yet to be made and is expected during this session.

In the meantime, the Election Commission has urged political parties to promptly submit their national list MP nominations. As of November 17, the commission had gazetted the names of MPs provided by political parties.
