Steps have been taken to suspend the strike initiated by the electricity trade unions.

This was following discussions held with the Labour Commissioner and the chairmen of the new electricity companies this afte oon (11).

The Labour Commissioner also stated that the trade unions will be given the opportunity to hold a discussion with the President tomorrow (12).
