The name of Faizer Musthapha has been officially gazetted for the National List seat of the New Democratic Front.

The Election Commission has issued the gazette notification confirming this appointment. The New Democratic Front secured two National List seats in the last parliamentary election.

Previously, the front had proposed the name of former Parliamentarian Ravi Karunanayake for one of the seats.
