Former State Minister Lohan Ratwatte, who was arrested and remanded in connection with a road accident, was granted bail after being produced before the Colombo Fort Magistrate's Court today (09).

Ratwatte had been arrested by the Kollupitiya Police on December 6th on charges of drunk driving, causing an accident, and threatening the injured party.

The incident occurred when Ratwatte, while retu ing from a visit to a relative's house, collided with another vehicle near the Kollupitiya junction.
