The Bribery Commission has filed indictments against former Minister Mervyn Silva before the Colombo High Court.

This is in connection with the allegation of illegally acquiring assets in excess of his lawful income.

The former minister has been remanded until June 9th in connection with an incident in which a gove ment-owned land in the Kiribathgoda area was forged and sold.
