Four recently promoted Additional Solicitors General in the Attorney General's Department have taken oaths as President's Counsel.

The oath-taking ceremony was reportedly held before the Supreme Court headed by Chief Justice Preethi Padman Surasena.

Additional Solicitors General Sudarshana de Silva, Azad Navavi, Hiranjan Peiris, and Lakmali Karunanayake have taken the oath.
