The French Navy ship 'PROVENCE' arrived at the Colombo Port yesterday (16) mo ing for an official visit.

It is reported that the ship has been received by the Sri Lanka Navy in accordance with naval traditions.

This DESTROYER-class ship that has arrived at the Colombo Port is 142.20 meters long.

It also has a crew of 160.

During the stay of the ship 'PROVENCE' on the island, its crew is scheduled to visit several areas to visit many major places on the island.

The ship is scheduled to depart the island on the 20th, concluding its official visit.
