Minister of Urban Development, Construction, and Housing Dr. Anura Karunathilaka stated that no discussion has been held at the ministerial level regarding the increase in drinking water charges.

This was in Parliament today (23).

The minister further stated that there is no expectation of increasing drinking water charges in any way.
