The Department of Meteorology says that an increase in rain conditions can be expected in the next few days.

Accordingly, showers or thundershowers may occur at times in the Northe , North-Central, and Easte provinces.

The Department of Meteorology stated that heavy rain exceeding 100 mm may occur in other areas after about 1.00 pm.

Similarly, heavy rains with thundershowers may occur at some places in the Weste and Sabaragamuwa provinces and in the Galle, Matara, and Nuwara Eliya districts.
