The Meteorological Department says that showers or thundershowers are likely to occur at times in the Weste , Sabaragamuwa, Southe , and Northweste provinces and in the Kandy and Nuwara Eliya districts tomorrow (10).

Issuing a statement, the department stated that several showers are likely to occur in the Anuradhapura, Matale, and Mannar districts.

The statement further states that fairly heavy rains of around 75 mm are likely to occur at some places in the Weste and Sabaragamuwa provinces and in the Galle and Matara districts.

Furthermore, showers or thundershowers are likely to occur at several places in the Uva province and Ampara, Batticaloa, and Polonnaruwa districts during the evening or night.
