The National Consumer Price Index indicates that inflation in the country dropped further to -1.7% in November 2024, down from -0.7% in October.

According to the Department of Census and Statistics, food inflation decreased from 1.3% in October to 0% in November. Non-food inflation also saw a decline, moving from -2.3% to -3.1%.

The figures were highlighted in the latest report issued by the Department of Census and Statistics.
