ISIS-K (ISIS-Khorasan), a pro-Islamic State group, made a threat against the upcoming T20 Cricket World Cup match between India and Pakistan in Nassau County Inte ational Cricket Stadium, New York.

The county’s police commissioner assured that the security forces have taken adequate measures to ensure the safety of the event.

The India-Pakistan match will take place on 9 June.

The 9th T20 World Cup is set to begin on 1 June with the hosts USA facing Canada in Grand Prairie and ends on 29 May.
