The Department of Census and Statistics has announced the Colombo Consumer Price Index and the Colombo Urban Community Consumer Inflation Rate for the month of April 2025.

The department announced that the Colombo Urban Community Consumer Inflation Rate has increased to -2.0% for the month of April.

It was reported as -2.6% for the month of March 2025.

Meanwhile, the annual inflation in the food category, which was reported as 0.6% in March, has increased to 1.3% in April.
