Sri Lankan batsman Lahiru Thirimanne has announced his retirement from inte ational cricket.

It is said that the 33-year-old made his inte ational debut in 2010.

Accordingly, he has played in 44 Test matches, 127 ODI matches and 26 T20 matches.

It is also special that Thirimanne was a key member of the team that won the 20-20 World Cup in 2014.
