Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) has announced that the inaugural player auction of the Lanka Premier League (LPL) will be held on June 14, 2023.

It is reported that Charu Sharma, a well-known Indian commentator, has been selected as an auctioneer.

In addition, Charu Sharma has acted as the SOS auctioneer for the 2022 Indian Premier League (IPL) auction.

The 4th Ceylon Premier League (LPL) tou ament is scheduled to be held from July 30 to August 20, 2023.
