The Department of Meteorology says that there will be some rain in Weste and Sabaragamuwa provinces and Galle and Matara districts today (21).

A few places in Mullaitivu district are reported to experience rain or thundershowers in the evening or at night.

In the rest of the island, there is mainly rainless weather.

In the weste slopes of the Central Hills, in the North-Central and North-Weste Provinces and in Trincomalee Hambantota and Monaragala Districts, wind gusts of up to 40-45 km/h will occur from time to time.
