A man who went for a swim in the Bowathenna reservoir in the Naula police division drowned and went missing yesterday (21).

The missing person is a 27-year-old resident of Bibila, Medagama.

He was swimming in the Bowathenna reservoir with two other people when he met with this accident.

It is reported that the Naula police, with the assistance of Navy diving officers, have begun searching for the missing person.
