The national program to give an additional dose of measles vaccine to children between the ages of 6 and 9 months will be started today (6).

Accordingly, under the first phase, additional measles doses will be given in 1,600 special clinics in Colombo, Gampaha, Kalutara, Galle, Matara, Jaffna, Kandy, Kurunegala, Kalmunai region.

This program is running again in the third week under the second phase.

Those between the ages of 9 months and 15 years who have received one dose of measles vaccine or no dose of measles vaccine can get the vaccine today (6) from clinics across the country.
