The transfer of the printing of motor vehicle number plates to a new company and the signing of the relevant agreement were carried out today (10).

It is reported that the Commissioner General of the Department of Motor Traffic, the Secretary to the Ministry of Road Transport and Urban Development, and the Board of Directors of the relevant private company have joined forces for this.

According to the relevant agreement, the company should start printing number plates within 03 months, said the Commissioner General of the Department of Motor Traffic, Kamal Amarasinghe.
