The Sri Lankan Election Commission has announced the final results for the Kalutara District in the 2024 General Election. The National People’s Power (NPP) emerged as the leading party, capturing over % of the total votes in the district.

The NPP received 452,398 votes, securing the district win, while the Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) came in second with 128,932 votes (18.84%).

Based on these results, the NPP has obtained 8 seats in Kalutara District, with the SJB winning 2 seats and NDF winning 1 seat.

• Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB): 128,932 votes – 2 seat
• New Democratic Front (NDF): 34,257 votes - 1 seat
• Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP): 27,072 votes
• Sarvajana Balaya: 13,564 votes
