The Sri Lankan Election Commission has announced the final results for the Gampaha District in the 2024 General Election. The National People’s Power (NPP) emerged as the leading party, capturing over 72% of the total votes in the district.

The NPP received 898,759 votes, securing the district win, while the Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) came in second with 150,445 votes (12.18%).

Based on these results, the NPP has obtained 16 seats in Gampaha District, with the SJB winning 3 seats.

• National People’s Power (NPP): 898,759 votes – 16 seats
• Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB): 150,445 votes – 3 seat
• Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP): 49,516 votes
• New Democratic Front (NDF): 47,512 votes 
• Sarvajana Balaya: 25,939 votes
