The highest honor conferred on a head of state by Sri Lanka, the Sri Lankan Mitra Vibhushan Garuvabhidhan, was conferred on Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi today (05).

This was done by President Anura Kumara Dissanayake.

The honor was conferred at a joint press conference held under the patronage of the heads of state of the two countries.
