New Zealand Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Winston Peters is scheduled to visit Sri Lanka today (24).
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that he will remain in the country until the 28th.
During this visit, the New Zealand Deputy Prime Minister is also scheduled to meet and hold discussions with President Anura Kumara Dissanayake and Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that Winston Peters will hold bilateral discussions with Minister of Foreign Affairs, Overseas Employment, and Tourism Vijitha Herath aimed at enhancing cooperation in the fields of trade and investment, agriculture, education, connectivity, tourism, and sports.
It is also reported that three senior officials from the New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade will also participate in this visit along with the Deputy Prime Minister.
