W. A. ​​S. Chandrasekara, who served as the Commissioner General of Inland Revenue, has retired from the public service with effect from February 28th.

Accordingly, it is reported that the Cabinet has approved the appointment of R. P. H. Fe ando, a special grade officer of the Inland Revenue Service, to the vacant post of Commissioner General of Inland Revenue with immediate effect.

She is serving as a Deputy Commissioner General of the Inland Revenue Department.
