North Korea says it has tested a new strategic cruise missile.

Foreign media reports said that the number of missiles tested was not specified.

Accordingly, North Korea announced that it conducted the first test of a new strategic cruise missile developed by it, Pulhwasal-3-31.

The South Korean military also said that it fired several cruise missiles into the sea west of the North Korean peninsula.
