An indictment has been handed over to Venerable Galagoda Aththe Gnanasara Thero, secretary of the Bodu Bala Sena Organization, for making a statement that is insulting to Islam.

This was before the Colombo High Court.

The court has also reportedly ordered the hero to be released on bail.
