A discussion was held today (05) between officials of the National Physical Planning Department and President Anura Kumara Dissanayake.

It was held at the Presidential Secretariat.

At the meeting, the president stated that Sri Lanka has the potential to become an attractive tourist destination through planned urban development, surpassing traditional construction methods.

The president has also instructed the officials to develop cities that embody the Sri Lankan identity.
