The case against former Minister Basil Rajapaksa regarding the purchase of 1.5 acres of land in the Buunsil area of ​​Matara for 50 million rupees was taken up before the Matara Magistrate's Court today (23).

It is reported that Basil Rajapaksa's lawyers informed the court that he was abroad due to illness.
