The Lanka Petroleum Corporation has made a profit of Rs. 18 billion in the first 6 months of the year.
Its Managing Director Mayura Netthikumara stated that several new projects were initiated for the development of the petroleum sector with that profit.
He also stated that steps will be taken to construct an aviation fuel pipeline from the Muthurajawela terminal to the Katunayake Airport.
