A plane carrying aid to provide relief to people affected by the earthquake in Myanmar has left the island this afte oon (05).

It is reported that a tri-service medical and disaster relief team has also left the country along with humanitarian aid collected with the contributions of the three-denominational Mahanayake Theros.
