An American Airlines Boeing 737-800 en route from Colorado Springs Airport to Dallas Fort Worth has caught fire.

Foreign media reported that the plane caught fire during an emergency landing at Denver Inte ational Airport.

The plane was grounded after its crew reported a technical problem with the plane's engine.

Foreign media reported that all 172 passengers and six crew members on board were safely evacuated.
