The Department of Meteorology states that showers or thundershowers are likely to occur at isolated places in the Weste , Sabaragamuwa, and Northweste provinces and in the Galle, Matara, Kandy, and Nuwara Eliya districts after 2 p.m. today (13).

The department stated that moderate to heavy showers exceeding 50 mm may occur at some places in the Weste and Sabaragamuwa provinces and in the Galle and Matara districts.

The Department of Meteorology also states that there may be some light showers in the Uva and Easte provinces.
