The Department of Meteorology says in a statement that there will be some rain in Weste , Sabaragamuwa, Central and North-Weste provinces and in Galle and Matara districts.

Easte and Uva provinces may experience rain or thundershowers at a few places during evening or night.

People are kindly requested to take necessary measures to reduce the dangers caused by temporary strong winds and lightning that may occur with thunderstorms.
