Former Minister Rajitha Senaratne has filed a motion with the Colombo Magistrate's Court seeking a temporary stay of the warrant issued for his arrest in connection with an investigation being conducted by the Bribery Commission.

The motion was reportedly taken up before Colombo Chief Magistrate Thanuja Lakmali Jayatunga today (18).

When it was called up in open court to confirm the facts, the magistrate stated that the request should be made when the complainant, the Bribery Commission, appears in court regarding the motion.
