The Government Medical Officers Association (GMOA) has requested that the revised circular regarding the reduction of additional duties and leave allowances of doctors be issued within a week.

The association stated that trade union action will be taken if attention is not paid to the matter.

GMOA spokesperson Dr. Chamil Wijesinghe said that the association's executive committee took this decision at a meeting held yesterday.
