Colombo Additional Magistrate Mr. Pasan Amarasinghe today (26) ordered to issue a red warrant in English, ordering the arrest of four suspects who are said to be abroad.

It is under the accusations of providing support to feed Al Qaeda terrorist organization.

These red warrants have been issued according to a request made by the Anti-Terrorism Investigation Division.

Thus, red warrants were issued to the father and son couple who are said to be residing in Kaleliya and Kalagedihena areas and are currently residing in Australia and Syria and two other persons.

They are Ahmed Khalil Luqman Talib, Ahman Luqmand Haleen, Abdul Bahin Mohammad Lebbe and Mohammad Pahir Ripon.

The Anti-Terrorism Investigation Division has filed a case against ten suspects in 2021 and four of those suspects have been issued red warrants.

The Atto ey General has proceeded to file super charges against five other suspects who were presented to the court in relation to this complaint before the Colombo High Court and the case is currently under investigation.
