The Colombo Magistrate's Court today (18) ordered that former Minister S. M. Chandrasena, who is currently in remand, be further remanded.

That is until August 01.

The former minister was arrested by the Bribery Commission on the 4th in connection with an incident in which he distributed maize seeds worth Rs. 25 million to his friends during the 2015 presidential election.
