The National Salt Company says that the arrival of the imported salt stock on the island may be delayed by a few more days.

The company stated that the delay is due to the prevailing bad weather conditions.

A stock of salt imported from India was scheduled to arrive on the island last night (21) as a solution to the existing salt shortage.

However, the National Salt Company further stated that the salt stock may be delayed by several days due to the prevailing bad weather conditions.
