The first phase of the third school term of the year 2023 in gove ment schools and gove ment approved private schools ends today (22).

Education Minister Dr. Susil Premajayantha said that the second phase of the third school term will begin on February 1, 2024.

The minister also announced that the second school term of the third term will be held from February 1st to 16th of the year 2024.

Accordingly, the first school term of 2024 will start on February 19.
