The Indian gove ment has taken steps to ban 16 Pakistani YouTube channels with over 63 million users in India.

Foreign media reported that the Indian Ministry of Home Affairs took this step with effect from today (28).

The relevant channels have been banned, accused of making provocative statements and escalating communal tensions after the Pahalgam attack in Kashmir.

Foreign media further stated that the Pakistani YouTube channels banned in India include news channels as well as channels of several Pakistani journalists.
