The Department of Meteorology states that showers or thundershowers may occur at a few places in the Southe Province and in the Ratnapura, Monaragala, and Kalutara districts after 2.00 pm.

The Department stated that the rest of the island will experience mainly rain-free weather conditions.

The Department of Meteorology further stated that foggy conditions may prevail at some places in the Central, Sabaragamuwa, Weste , North-Weste , and North-Central provinces and in the Galle and Matara districts during the early hours.
