The Department of Meteorology says in a statement that there will be some rain in the Northe , Easte and North-Central provinces and Matale district.

The announcement also states that rain or thundershowers may occur in a few places in Weste and Sabaragamuwa provinces, Galle and Matara districts after 2.00 pm.

Foggy conditions may prevail in some places in the Weste , Sabaragamuwa, Central and Southe provinces in the mo ing.

People are kindly requested to take necessary measures to reduce the dangers caused by temporary strong winds and lightning that may occur with thunderstorms.
