Professor Muhammad Yunus, the chief advisor to the interim gove ment formed after the ouster of former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, has decided to resign from his duties.

Foreign media reported that Naheed Islam, the convener of the National Citizens Party of Bangladesh, also met with Professor Muhammad Yunus after reports emerged about this.
